Following in the footsteps of the recent release of their retro-future styled running shoe, LXCON, the Three Stripes have strategically decided to dust off the blueprints of the original and release the shoe that inspired it all. The Lexicon OG debuted back in 1994. You know it’s that old because back then they still used all of the vowels to spell out the word.
In addition to proper spelling, the Lexicon comes with a technologically driven design that was in full swing at the time of its release. With a “Torsion System” sole, the signature adiPRENE cushioned heel and a structural cable system connecting the midfoot to the heel to help you lock in while distributing equal pressure across the entire shoe, these technologies made the OG one of the most cutting edge running shoes on the market. And, seeing as it recently spawned a slightly modified design update, it proves the shoe is still relevant in today's market and has the ability to keep up with the past 25 years of technological advances.
