Bodega and 18 East have teamed up to celebrate their New England roots and the influence of the natural world on its rich outdoor clothing history.

Sometimes it starts by taking a step back and appreciating the nature that surrounds you. The whole world suddenly opens up, and you start to see things in a new light. Inspiration for anything and everything are suddenly everywhere and things you once would’ve passed by suddenly have the ability to hold your attention. You look down and see a leaf in a sea of leaves but it’s as if it’s the first you’ve ever seen.

It holds a complicated, beautiful, visual story, its color palette serving as a timeline of its journey: green birth, orange and yellow growth, and black decay. It’s suspended in life and death. But, it also symbolizes change - its ability to change with its surrounds and for its surroundings.

Observations like this wouldn’t be possible if you aren’t getting out into the natural world and they could never be acted upon creatively if you don’t bring them back into society. If you love clothing, you know that it can be the motivation you need to get out and explore but it has to be there for you, no matter what you're up against.

Born from the discovery of one single leaf and the desire to help others find their own ‘leaves’, whatever they maybe be, Bodega and 18 East have teamed up to celebrate their New England roots and the influence of the natural world on its rich outdoor clothing history. The result is “Good Anywhere”, a collection of versatile outdoor gear celebrating the motif of suspended adaptation, or rather constant versatility, inspired by that fateful aforementioned leaf and using a print made from the actual leaf itself. What, you thought that was just marketing?

From essentials like a co-branded crewneck and a pair of t-shirts to workwear and exploration essentials like double knee pants, a tactical vest, and a parka jacket, the collection is specifically designed to be ‘good anywhere’, doing any-thing, while maintaining an individual spirit in the all the while. So whether you’re expedition is to the back yard, the state park, or the city you’ve always wanted to explore, here is a collection that lives up to the inspiration emblazoned on its pieces with designs that talk the talk and construction that walks the walks. Or hikes the hikes.
