Our design team recently paired up with Vans to create the ‘Coming to America’ Pack. The collection consists of three different and intricately designed OG Authentic LX models. Each color way features patterned fabrics that have African origins. The sneaker comes with an “Off the Wall” branded box and cinch bag with additional raw hyde laces. The Vans logo still appears on the upper, while a hidden Bodega logo is printed on the insole. Other unique features include tortoise shell lace eyelets, top edge leather piping, and gum toes. This collection stays true to our mission; to curate and create, rare quality goods. Releasing this Saturday 6.22.13 for $110 each, the collection will be available both in-store and online. The St. Alfred x The Asics Gel Lyte III. Available June 15, 2013 at our shop, this shoe is most definitely one of the coolest collaborations we’ve seen with Asics. Chicago based boutique (our friends), St. Alfred, designed this shoe keeping their city proudly in mind. In Sneaker Freaker’s newest issue, St. Alfred’s Joe Schaefer said the greens and tans of the shoe harken back to the shoreline and beaches Chicago sits on. The single layer Asics stripe along with the super soft suede and leather lining makes for an incredibly comfortable shoe. We received very limited quantities so make sure you’re on top of your shi*. As far as online goes, only an extremely limited amount will be available at 11am EST on June 15, save the date – retail is set at $150. DO NOT LINE UP BEFORE 8AM PLEASE. Play Cloths and Saucony release their last collaboration together; The Cotton Candy Pack. The sneaks feature super soft suede uppers, white mid-soles, and gum bottoms. The toe box also retains that starry perforated design we saw in their last “Precious Metals” collab too. Modeled after that fluffy stuff we all know and love, each pair is given a fitting name; Blue Dream,Coral Almond, and Mimosa. The Play Cloths branding appears on the front of the tongue as well as on the in sole. These tasteful Saucony’s are available in-store now for $150. Check out some more imagery below.

London’s own Foot Patrol is releasing their second collaboration with le coq sportif, the Éclat “Macaron Edition.” This collab’s inspiration (if you haven’t already guessed) was the classic French confectionary; the Macaron. “Crisp on the outside and smooth on the inside” is their motto. It features a pig skin suede upper, super soft satin lining, a gum sole, and 3M along the heel cup and in the laces. The Foot Patrol branding appears on the tongue, insole, and heel in metallic gold print. A vibrant turquoise blankets the upper and the toe box and side panels are perforated; not exactly a traditional Éclat. We’ll be one of two stores in the U.S to receive this shoe, releasing Saturday 6.8.13 at 11am EST online and in-store for $135. Check out some more imagery below.

The Nanamica Briefcase features a lot of bang for the buck. It’s made with the lightweight but extremely durable CORDURA twill fabrics. The brass hardware and smooth leather accents along with an adjustable shoulder strap and storage pockets makes it perfect for both casual and work use. A new and exciting brand hit our shelves this past month. Frank the Butcher’s, OWNSAKE, brings a unique mix of quality, creativity, and design. The garments are hand crafted in China using Japanese milled yarns and fabrics. The OWNSAKE brand challenges the status quo of high-end men’s wear by offering unique perspectives to styling and fitting. The oxford’s feature contrast stitching and oval breast pockets. Yes, that’s right, oval. About time we ditch that boring square. A few other interesting features are chambray fabrics, dyed yarn, and mini polka-dots. Shop our offerings from OWNSAKE here.

Bodega’s work with Mark McNairy carries on with two new reinventions of the Derby Shoe and the Brogue Boot. Featuring a pony hair front, a black nubuck saddle, and a corduroy rear, the Derby shoe sits on a commando sole with a natural leather welt. In an olive-green, the Brogue boot is reminiscent of our previous McNairy team-up, but features wool panels and suede brogues set on a vibram christy sole. Designed by Bodega in the Las Vegas summer heat, the collaborations continue to take a fresh perspective on traditional classics. If you’re looking to ride through the summer on a new saddle, the Leopard Saddle Derby Shoe and the Olive Wool Country Brogue Boot is now available both in-store and online for USD $523 and $588, respectively.
